CIT - OCTOBER 2025 - bedford - CLOSED

Location: Dept. of Veterans Affairs Police

Training Dates: October 22, 23, 24, 28 & 29

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (each day)

CIT is a 5 day, 40 hour training aimed at improving response to individuals impacted by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse.  It covers several topics such as: Complex Psychiatric Conditions, Crisis Negotiation, Addiction, Mood Disorders, and many more!

CIT FOR DISPATCH - NOVEMBER 2025 - OPEN

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: Friday, November 7, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

911 Operators play a crucial role in informing public safety response to individuals impacted by behavioral health. This 8 hr. program is designed to provide dispatch with an overview of the goals of CIT and the critical role that dispatchers play in supporting residents as well as public safety.

 

CIT recertification - NOVEMBER 2025 - CLOSED

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: Thursday, November 20, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

CIT Recertification is a one day, eight hour training that reviews the foundational principles covered in CIT. Officers who completed CIT training three or more years ago and are seeking to maintain their CIT Certification can attend our one day CIT Recertification training. 

 

CIT - december 2025 - andover - CLOSED

Location: Andover Police Department

Training Dates: December 3, 4, 5, 9 & 10

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (each day)

CIT is a 5 day, 40 hour training aimed at improving response to individuals impacted by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse.  It covers several topics such as: Complex Psychiatric Conditions, Crisis Negotiation, Addiction, Mood Disorders, and many more!

Psychological First Aid - december 2025 - OPEN

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: Tuesday, December 16, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is based on the evidence informed principles of safety, calming, connectedness, hope and self/community efficacy. Participants will learn to assist individuals to reduce distress after a potentially traumatic event. PFA is culturally informed and appropriate for all.

Training Dates: January 21, 22, 23, 27 & 28

SPARC - April 2026 - andover - OPEN

Location: Andover Police Department

Training Dates: Wednesday, April 15, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Stalking Prevention, Awareness and Resource Center (SPARC) is a federally funded project that provides education and resources about the crime of stalking. SPARC aims to enhance the response to stalking by educating the professionals tasked with keeping stalking victims safe and holding offenders accountable. Law Enforcement Officers, Detective, Clinicians, Victim’s Advocates, and Prosecutors are all welcome to enroll to gain specialized knowledge to identify and respond to the crime of stalking.
