Wellness Training for Chiefs & Administrators - APRIL 2026 - ANDOVER - OPEN

Wellness for Chiefs and Administrators is a specialized training designed for chiefs and command staff, providing practical tools to support the well-being of both their officers and themselves. Developed in partnership with leaders in law enforcement and the mental health field—including Chief Thomas W. Fowler of Salisbury, Linda Kokoros, and Jay Bailey of Hope Beyond the Badge—this training reinforces the importance of wellness and resilience throughout the department.

 

moral injury, qpr & safety planning - April 2026 - andover - OPEN

Training Dates: Thursday, April 30, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Metro Boston CIT-TTAC is fortunate to partner with Kevin Lambert for this specialized training aimed at enhancing first responders’ understanding of Moral Injury and the healing process. This training also provides Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper three-step prevention and intervention certification. Lastly, participants are equipped with strategies to support colleagues who may be at risk of suicide. 

 

Psychological First Aid - MAY 2026 - OPEN

Location: Andover Police Department

Training Dates: Tuesday, May 5, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is based on the evidence informed principles of safety, calming, connectedness, hope and self/community efficacy. Participants will learn to assist individuals to reduce distress after a potentially traumatic event. PFA is culturally informed and appropriate for all.

 

CIT - May 2026 - SOMERVILLE - closed

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: May 6, 7, 8, 13 & 14

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (each day)

CIT is a 5 day, 40 hour training aimed at improving response to individuals impacted by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse.  It covers several topics such as: Complex Psychiatric Conditions, Crisis Negotiation, Addiction, Mood Disorders, and many more!

*Attendance on all 5 days is required*

 

CIT recertification - June 2026 - OPEN

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: Thursday, June 4, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

CIT Recertification is a one day, eight hour training that reviews the foundational principles covered in CIT. Officers who completed CIT training three or more years ago and are seeking to maintain their CIT Certification can attend our one day CIT Recertification training. 

 

The 14th Annual Mental Health & Law Enforcement Conference - JUNE 2026 - OPEN

Location: Boston College School of Law (Auditorium)

Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

The Mental Health and Law Enforcement Conference is an opportunity for First Responders, Emergency service providers, Justice System partners, and other interested parties to gather to learn about various programs and collaboration efforts across the state. Conference is free but pre-registration is required.

 

Rewire4 by roca - June 2026 - OPEN

Location: Somerville Police Department

Training Dates: Tuesday, June 16, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Metro Boston CIT-TTAC is fortunate to partner with Roca, an internationally recognized organization, to bring Rewire4, a training tailored to the practices of policing and corrections and can teach law enforcement the theory and skills to help them stay focused, read themselves, examine their thinking and act on what’s important to them.

Rewire4 is different from traditional police training, and teaches officers a way of understanding the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how that relationship impacts their lives.
