This course is specifically designed to provide officers with a deeper understanding of effective communication strategies in relationship to Trauma. Returning is instructor Casey Jackson, an expert in motivational interviewing who has once again specifically adapted this approach for law enforcement response. Advanced Motivational Interviewing is a continuation class, further cementing fundamentals of Motivational Interviewing for police officers and expanding knowledge of participants on how to best strategically engage and strengthen executive functioning of individuals impacted by trauma.
